The Birth Of Corruption Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Birth Of Corruption

Corruption usually starts
With a small favor from the heart
To an acquaintance, a friend, a pal
A schoolmate or a family member.

Corruption creeps on, it happens
In many forms or facets. It threatens
The very fibers of our society
Corruption is a cancer to every country
In the world. It has no legs, but it can
Crawl, walk and run. It has no wings
But it can fly faster than an eagle
Corruption is deadly. It is never feeble
It is strong. Corruption only brings bad things
Death, execution, backstabbing, and a lot of pain.

Corruption usually starts
Infinitesimally tiny like a grain of salt
And ends as big as a nuclear missile
And ends as tall as a giant imbecile.
