The Black Hole Poem by Kelvin Rush

The Black Hole

I'm going down I've had my fill
I've no regrets or remorse
I've said my peace I've took my pill
Let nature take its course

I've shed my tears I've lost my friends
I've come through the darkest hour
There's no more reason to act or pretend
No need for wealth or power

I feel at peace I yearn no more
Emotions have flown the game
I don't react or defend myself
I no longer have a name

I'm broken down dismissed excused
Allowed to drift away
I hope to God I never return
Let this be my final day

I look around and see the pain
The destruction and the fear
I feel so lucky to be going back home
The end is now drawing near

This crazy earth no sense no worth
No order no control
We're revolving together dissolving into never
Right down the black hole
