The Black Keys Poem by Katniss Everdeen

The Black Keys

I see you walk away
Feeling so betrayed
Cause you said you'd stay
Wondering, if I will ever be the same

Colours don't mean anything no more
Not since you walked out that door
The rain starts to pour
And I notice something I haven't before

That the black-keys
Never looked so good to me
As I kneel in front of the keys
They lead me to a place I want to be

The only thing that gets me through
That helps me get over you
They lead me to a world I never knew
A colourless world, without you

Some things are better in black and white
Not everything looks better bright
