The Black Queen Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

The Black Queen

Have you seen the black queen
The African model beauty
She steps with humility and pride
In the constitution of her shade
Her face gleams like raw coal
And her smile shines like the diamond
Her voice rings like tenor cord
And she carries herself with dignity
Her words flow with honour
And chastity is her apparel
Her gentility is feline
And her courage canine
All hail the African queen.
