The Blue-Bodied Love God

And in the depth of another night
Presence of all-pervading Eternity
was felt everywhere
as if
a circle of bright light
as bright as the cosmos
endless, eternal and serene,
when in all calm air
the fresh-born dropped
from darkness to light.
* The night Hindu God Krishna was born.
