The Boardwalk Poem by GUY MAGGIO

The Boardwalk

I'm old now I had many wishes and dreams in my life and I was a movie star and I walked on the moon I did many things in my life and it was all in my dreams, and I had hope some day someone will find me and make me a move star and take me away from being poor and alone, so now I feel abandoned and cold and alone no one ever came so now I'm still waiting on the boardwalk like I have all these years feeding my birds and crying my ship never came it was all a dam lie.

I like the sentiment expressed but it appears you put little or no effort into crafting it into something compelling. Rather, it looks like you just spoke it onto the page. And thus it's not all that original or special.
