The Body Has No Soul
They taught us,
Wrongly with the Vedas,
That the body has a soul.
In truth,
The body has no soul.
But the soul has a body.
And the body is the only
Asset the soul has
They taught us,
Wrongly with the scriptures
That the soul is immortal
In truth,
When the body perishes
The soul too will perish.
The soul can never exist
Without the body.
In our life,
We run after money,
Power and fame
Neglecting the body
The only asset
The soul owns.
All other assets,
Cannot sustain the soul.
So take care, take care
Of the body, since
That is the only asset
The soul possesses.
They taught us,
To love the soul and
Never love the body
Hiding the actual truth
That the soul cannot
Exist without the body.
This a question without any convincing answer Whether the body lives in a soul or the soul lives in the body. Nice write though.

Brilliant poem. 'They taught us To love the soul and Never love the body'. In fact all religions misguided their followers in this way. Pragmatic approach to soul and body is necessary in this modern world. Science may interpret soul as life.
All religions rest on the delusion of soul. Once that delusion is cleared our mind will be liberated and we realize that body is the only asset we have.
