The Book I Wrote Poem by Martine Kolber

The Book I Wrote

Rating: 5.0

So this is where it all ends
And I close the book I wrote
To you and in it I placed all
My heart so it may guide you
My soul so it may help you
My love so you are not alone
My hope so you will see the light

So this is where it all ends
And I reread the book I wrote
About you and in it I found all
My fears you did not see
My tears you did not dry
My anger you did cause
My pain you did not heal

So this is where it all ends
And I close the book I wrote
Because of you and in it I saw
So many memories that cause
Me pain so much love that
Brings me down you see without
You there is not much of me

So this is where it all ends
And I reread the book I wrote
To you about you with you
To finally set myself free of
Your loving spell because you
See I know that what I am to
Is not what you need nor is it real

So this is where it all ends
And I close the book I wrote
For you and with it I close
The door towards my inner self
To where my love stays real
To where I hide those memories
Under thousands of uncried tears
