The Book Of Life Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Book Of Life

There is a book that no one will read, it rest in the spiritual skies,
It's guarded by a devoted angel, with magic in her eyes.
This book is a record of all that has past and all that shall be,
Its contents can devour us all, or maybe set us free.

The book was written long ago, its words are set in stone,
It tells of who will fall down broken, and who will man the throne.
No human can ever see, the words that this book bestows,
No eyes can glance upon the book; it is not for us to know.

The Angels who protect this book, protects the wisdom of our days,
And if we should wander from our path, the book shall correct our ways.
How that works I do not know, it has never been observed,
But this book will always protect those who are well deserved.

The Angels who guard this book, they do so with full pride,
Within the pages of this book the soul of the angles reside.
All that is, and all that will be, lie in the folds of this book,
And if by chance you have a chance to see, please don't you look.

REB (JUNE 2012) LIFE SHOULD REMAIN MYSTERIOUS
