The Box In The Corner Poem by Sheena Blackhall

The Box In The Corner

The Box in the Corner
The box in the corner has shown
The killing of J.F.Kennedy
Hundreds of times since his death

The box in the corner is
The repository of ghosts
The ghosts of Christmas past
Fill up its seasonal screen

How thrilling to see great film stars
Do their little dance
How chilling to know they are dead!

The box in the corner can show us just about whatever we want. Mine shows me mostly nature shows and baseball games, I enjoyed the poem. Thanks.
