The Bridge Poem by Robert Longley

The Bridge

So now you hold the banner
The chalice and sword
To help those at the boundary
Where all of us move toward

It’s there we see our future
What’s made us who we are
And all our moment memories
Of those both near and far

You’d think it would be easy
It is - when looking back
It’s this missing piece of foresight
That all of you do lack

So trust in divine purpose
We’re each part of a plan
On both sides of the rainbow
We must do as each we can
