The Center Of Your World Poem by Robert Longley

The Center Of Your World

Don’t bow to the impatience
Don’t crumble neath the weight
Don’t give into confusion
Or thoughts you’ve had of late

It’s partially a challenge
And somewhat just a change
A chance to spread your winds
And expand upon your range

It’d be nice without the drama
And all the crazy thoughts
Or all that seems uncertain
And ties you up in knots

It’s you that should be different
Be that which around the world revolves
It’s only from this vantage
That the mysteries you’ll solve
