The Broomstick Trick Poem by Sumita Jetley

The Broomstick Trick

Ravi, the office hero, walked into the room,
Mr. Kapoor, serious, like a judge sealing doom.
'Ravi, find Mr. Rajeev, get the deal signed, '
A task so impossible, it boggled the mind.

Mr. Rajeev Kumar—now that's a joke,
A client as real as a unicorn or smoke.
Ravi nodded, though he knew it well,
This was a ‘broomstick trick, ' no magic spell.

Sameer winked, "Bro, you're on a wild ride,
They sent you chasing ghosts, while they hide inside."
Ravi shrugged, packed his bag, and grabbed his tea,
Pretending he was off, as free as can be.

He came back the next day with empty hands,
But a grin on his face and a new set of plans.
"Boss, no luck finding that client of lore,
But let's talk about what's really in store."

Mr. Kapoor sighed, his mask slipping away,
"It's not the client, it's the targets each day.
I fear if I push, the team might break,
But I didn't want to admit it, for my own sake."

Ravi smiled, "Boss, that's all you had to say,
No need for broomsticks to make fear go away."
And so they laughed, with chai in hand,
No more wild goose chases, just a helping hand.
