The Bullying Game Poem by Alex Deacon

The Bullying Game

Rating: 5.0

Thank you said the man at the bus stop
I offered him a sweet.
Thank you said the policeman walking down the street
Cheers, boyo said Sam the neighbour next door
Sorry I said as I fell to the floor
What have I done?
Screaming out in pain
Why must you hurt me?
Is it some kind of game?
"We don't like you we think you're soft"
What have I done to you I frantically coughed
"You give out sweets and you hum and sing"
That's when I hit him right in the face I hit him so hard it made my knuckles sting
I got in trouble
I wasn't to blame; I guess that boy will remember I don't like bullying games.
