i might change: " Your collar open to the sea" to " Your...for me to see" etc
" Stranraer is a town in the historical county of Wigtownshire in southwest Scotland."
line 8: " had" not " we'd" kissed? ? ?
stanzas 4 & 6 i really like
I'm not really following the story well, but i like the rhyming. but, in last line: " Ivanhoe" ?
i bet this plays well as a song; i often pay little attention to lyrics
bri
:)
Hey Bri. The chorus contains a couple of astrological refs - Mars and Neptune - and collar open to the sea is another. The kissing was about yesterday in the same way as the later usage was: and both were examples of personification - making the past a dramatis persona (bit of a lofty notion for such a lowly product, I appreciate!) . Ivanhoe is also code -something the other person involved, would understand. Again, much thanks Bri, for taking a look.
