The Call Poem by Ramakrushna Sahu

The Call

From far far away
Breaking the blockade of noise
On the path of silence
A call of a bird is diving deep
Into the tiredness of my heart

It is more than a song
without a meaning,
I have not been able to sing
Such a song with all my emotions
Putting my hopes and desires
In it as its meanings
And thereby missing
The music of a creation

My song has not been transformed
Yet into a call to invite others
To share the throbbing of my heart,
I have tried
To impress and acquire others
But never given myself to them
Surrendered never

The moment I will transform
My song into a call
I know I will no more be there
But return as an echo of my song
Reflected on the heart
of my listeners.
