The Calm - Poem by Alc Harris

The calm of the sea
Entices me
Soothing whispers in the night

Shhh shhh
Be afraid

Urging me nearer
Its tide forever
Drawing me

Its cold embrace is my saviour
I stand in the moonlight
Soft whispers
Will take my breath from me

Shh shh
Be afraid

We will be as one
Our hearts still and silent
Forever drifting
In the calm
Of the sea
