The Candle Shows A Ray Of Hope Poem by Heath Gunn

The Candle Shows A Ray Of Hope

A candlelight is flickering,
in a far off distant room.
Casting shadows up the walls,
breaking up the gloom.
It's orange hinted, yellow glow,
lights up the cool night air.
And as i gaze into the flame,
i'm dragged out of despair.
For the candle shows a ray of hope,
that through the dark there's light.
And after life's dark times subside,
the outlook can be bright.
