The Caste Demon Poem by VISWANTH PANDIRI

The Caste Demon

He looked deep into the eyes of a girl
And he fell in love with her.
She was like an angel from the heaven,
Her eyes were gorgeous and her face a shining moon and
Her voice was a sweet fountain!

Both of them fell in love
And they were deep in their love.
His mother liked her and her father liked her
And then landed on them the demon of caste.

His parents said NO to her and
They could allow no OTHER girl to their home.
Then they embraced death who had no caste
And they got wed in the heavens late.

But the caste demon laughed and
Went for hunting another pair.
