The Charms Of That Jinni Poem by Naveed Raja

The Charms Of That Jinni

Rating: 5.0

And I told her, what fetched her there,
Her uncanny looks told a story...
Which my rational mind failed to comprehed,
But very well discerned by my celestial one.

Though eerie her looks were,
But hypnotizing effects did they have.
I too in my state of trance,
Began to yield myself to her fatal glance.

Lately gained I the consciousness,
Found her SWORDish lips widening a bit
As if ready to sacrifice the lamb,
Who meekly succumbed to the charms of the dame.

Spoke she nothing, neither did I,
I began to like it by and by.
Her sheeny visage too tough to forget
For if that image fades, I'd ever regret...

Gaining some courage this cowardous(sic) being,
Tried to break that enigmatic silence.
No sooner tried he to utter something.
From nowhere a familiar voice began reverberating...

"Baya, Dapan Chi Wath" called that voice,
Thus begain I realizing What All This Was...
"Tchê Tî Ousya Wunkesî yûn" replied I murmuring,
And saw that little devil smiling as if he knew Everything... :)
