The Child's Mistake Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Child's Mistake

Rating: 5.0

be careful then
about love my friend

the passion that burns
in you
burns you too
completely

and you ask yourself
where am I?

what have become of
me?
were you not the moth
that burned with fire?

a child finds you
on the floor
mistakes you for
gunpowder.

A child sometimes does mistake. The passion burns and provokes thought. Providing true guidance with care and love growth of a child can be initiated with positive impact. Thank you very much for sharing this poem.10
