The Climate Cat - Poem by Emmanuel Stone
The sky darkens in my room
It is becoming difficult to see
And the cat plays with my moods.
I need a new climate
One that I can relate to
Where the cooling doesn’t blow in the heat
And the snow falls thick instead of rain
(What rain?) And the sky still darkens
My room is cast in moody shadows
And the cat plays with me.
