In a room filled with pieces, Maria sat,
Surrounded by gadgets, in thought she was wrapped.
A woman of skill, who knew how things ticked,
Today she felt puzzled, in dilemmas she's picked.
'Is everything rigged just to fall apart? '
She pondered aloud, her thoughts a fine art.
'Or maybe it's me, I'm the rigging you see,
Designed just to fix what in life isn't free.'
In her hands lay a clock, old and timeworn,
A gift for her grandma, yet it left her forlorn.
Gears and springs spread on her desk like a map,
A puzzle unsolved, in life's intricate trap.
Her phone buzzed suddenly, tearing her muse,
An email from work, yet more bad news.
A project was stalled, efforts felt in vain,
As if life itself enjoyed her disdain.
'What do you do, ' she questioned her plight,
'When everything wrong resists every right? '
A cycle, it seemed, of unending woes,
A test of her strength, life's turbulent throes.
Then, in a moment, a thought did appear,
Not every problem's a nail, and she not just a spear.
What if, she pondered, the point's to discern,
To learn and to grow, not just make the wheels turn?
She picked up a gear, felt its weight in her palm,
A piece of a whole, like a verse in a psalm.
Returning to work, she chose a new way,
Asked questions that led her team not to stray.
Progress was slow, but progress it was,
As if a new light had been lit, just because.
The clock still in pieces, yet Maria felt free,
For accepting life's chaos brought a new decree.
That night she laid down, her spirit at ease,
Not all broken things bring one to their knees.
Sometimes to understand is enough of a quest,
And carrying weight shows the strength in your chest.
So Maria moved forward, a wisdom anew,
In a world full of questions, her answers were few.
But that was okay, for she knew deep inside,
In life's vast unknown, she'd forever reside.
And so, she found peace in uncertain design,
A labyrinth solved, one moment at a time.
Where not everything works as you think it should be,
And that's perfectly fine, for it sets your soul free.
