The Clouds Tilt Daily Poem by R.G McKinley

The Clouds Tilt Daily

It came to be on such a day,
To see shadows nevermore to rise,
Softly spoken kinder words;
These are uttered closely before my eyes.

Invisible though our smiles may be,
The shine is never lost,
To those who knew as winter grew,
Such smile’s came at a cost.

Dark clouds pass as day becomes dusk,
I know we will dream again,
Then in the morn as the sun spreads to dawn,
May the sunshine never end?
