The Clown Poem by Nick Jordan.

The Clown

Rating: 4.5

A clown hides behind a painted smile,
Often masking unseen scars,
There is more to him than meets the eye,
Than is written in the stars.

What is it about him,
That's so misunderstood?
He can't do right for doing wrong,
For the sake of being good.

The clown, who laughs always and makes others laugh has sometimes very sad moments and history of sadness, by this poem you brought into my mind a psychological state of mind in which we laugh loud in public and cry in silence.. thank you. tony
