I wish I could show you
the colours of the sea
the rich greens, deep blues
crystal clear, and all three!

I wish I could tell you
and that you would hear
about its deepest darkest hue
that strikes in all such terrible fear

I wish you could see her
as she truly is
a beautiful Lady that speaks to me
that calls with waves rushing
I wish you could see what I see
a sweet maiden blushing
that is the sea to me
