my night arrives
in utter silence like
a creeping cat
the lizard on the ceiling
comes down to the ground
to kiss once again
the nape of the earth,
the gecko finally locks
light away with its
masculine sound which i
counted to know if i
really made the right decision.
the clock strikes seven
and so i finally bowed down in prayer.
the moon comes in an array of
serenity followed by the stars
as though another extravaganza
is going to occur again.
now i am no longer alone.
