The Connection! Poem by Mehreen Tahir

The connection between God and I,
is everywhere,
all around me,
and within me.
It's in the sunshine,
that gives me warmth and joy.
It's in the blooming flower,
that welcomes me every morning.
It's in the wind,
that blows away all my worries.
It's in the rain,
that washes away all my tears.
It's in the rainbow,
that tells me to be happy and smile.
But the most important connection,
is the strongest one,
and that is my faith,
and my prayer.
