The Constant Stars Poem by Chelsea Angelica Rose Fraser

The Constant Stars

The twinkle of the fire in our hearts,
Look up to the stars see the stories over the years.

The thrashing passion of the winter sea.
The sultry sting of the summer bee,
The delicate taste of the sunset on your tongue.
The salt caressing the shine of your eye,
Bringing the taste of tears.
Obliterating all your fears.

Melting your hearts, and softening the pain,
The wind and waves playing a chasing game.
The fray of the ice blue sky on the landscape,
Of the evergreen sea cascading against the wind.
Burying all the sorrows and hiding all the secrets deep within its depths.

The treasure which we value most
Our humanity we hold so close.
