The Constipated Turtle Poem by Debora Soramaki

The Constipated Turtle

Venture with me inside the world
Of Myrttle, the turtle.
As slow as slow can be,
She had a problem that was annoying.
Life is bad enough
When everything is slow,
But here's hoping the possibility
For Myrttle to go!
She's gotta go, but no show, no flow, below,
What misery!
Then along came Fluffy, the neighborhood dog,
She said to poor Myrttle,
' Come on dear, you need to eat like a hog,
Then you will go, believe me, I know.'
Sure enough, that did the trick.
No more was Myrttle feeling sick!
