The Cosmos Is A Book Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Cosmos Is A Book

The cosmos is a book
with its first and last pages torn—
We trace the lines that linger,
yet the beginning fades
like the breath of dawn
on glass.

Its origin hums in echoes,
too distant to recall,
while the end dissolves,
sinking deep
into the ocean of time.
We stand on the shore,
unable to grasp
the edge of its unfolding.

Between those missing pages,
existence breathes—
a narrative spun from
verses of revelation,
where questions rise,
spiraling outward,
forever unanswered.

Perhaps the lost pages
were never meant for us,
for beauty lives in the unveiling—
in the soft turning of chapters,
and the quiet knowing
that this book
will never close.
Creation speaks,
a story written
without end.
