THE COUNTDOWN-9

I know
Society needs time
To reclassify human beings
Not as per their needs and deeds
But as it sees them
In terms of their present utility

In the hierarchy that never ends
Men and women find a place
Not as per their commitment
Not for what have they done over the years
The sweat and blood they shed
The values and goals they upheld
But how they can contribute right now
To a society, they stood by in Moments of crisis
To a society to which they Contributed every bit
To maintain and sustain it
Without thinking that
They have their smile and tear
To live, love and endure
Things and circumstances change
But priorities of the society
Remain as they are
People over the years have not changed
Their attitude as per their permanent interest
Remained the same

I know
A few days and hours will go by
Society will take time
To show you the way
You will be
Where you deserve to be
As a nonperforming
and unassuming nonentity


Never regret
Never bother
How society behaves
Find your love and passion
Be with them
Never hesitate to live
Till you die
