The Cow Herder And Vardhaman Mahavir Poem by Rohan Bendre

The Cow Herder And Vardhaman Mahavir

A CowHerder Was Grazing His Cattle. He Passed near Vardhaman Mahavir. Lord Mahavir Was
In Deep Meditation.

The Cow Herder Said.

'' An Urgent Task urges me to Ask You a Question
In my Absence May I Request you to Pay Attention? .''

Lord Mahavir was in deep Meditation. The Cow Herder Presumed that Lord Vardhaman Mahavir
Had heard him.

The Cow Herder went to Accomplish his Task. After Some time He Came but he didn't Saw any Cattle.

He Asked Lord Mahavir.

'' My Task has been Accomplished to a Successful Possibility
Wasn't keeping an Eye on the Cattle your Responsibility? .''

But As he was Going He saw the Cattle around Lord Mahavir.

The Cowherder thought Lord Mahavir was hiding the cattle.

The Cowherder said.

'' The Sight forces me to take Cruel Action
Kindly tell me where have you hidden the Cattle
To get the Answer by Brutal Ways I am Capable.''

The Cowherder was about to whip Lord Mahavir. Just then a Voice came from Heaven.

'' Your Action is Cruel as well as Illogical
For the revered one was in deep meditation
To harm your Cows hardly did he have any intention.''

The Cowherder was Sorry for his Mistake. He Apologized to Lord Mahavir and Went Away.
