The Crush Poem by Madeline Arnold

The Crush

Rating: 5.0

I get the crush every day
Never have I a little relief
Just intense thoughts of different ways
Tp throw those close to me to bereaved

I do not want
I do not need
I do not long
I would not heed,
Your advice is you gave it me,
I don't believe you'd lift the crush

I love you more every day
Like a suffocation, a small delay
In my mind.
But our love can't bring
A smile to my face
My heart will never sing
I will never be safe

I do not want
I do not need
I do not long I would not heed,
Your advice if you gave it me,
I don't believe you'd lift this crush.
