THE CU(s) P OF SUCCESS

ADDICTION: The Poet muses about the trigger-
The Muse sees- it's her he's trying to configure..

The Poetess, however, sedately takes the tip,
Wary of the slip between the cup and the lip.

Poesy kindled by the Brew's heady aroma
Well-versed to avoid superfluous melodrama..

The male still seeking his source of inspiration
Gulping away- provoking bouts of perspiration!

A pointer to the male proclivity to fritter
Is his infatuation with top frothy layers bitter:

The poetess sagely favors the bottom of the CUPPA
Savoring a sugary finale to the evening's GUP SHUPPA!
