The Daily Poem by Francie Lynch

The Daily

Daily
I awake
To write,
But first
Needs brush
My teeth and hair,
Then skip headlong
Down the stairs,
Where,
Paper stares
Anticipating ink
To make my verse
Complete,
To make my verse
Compete
To be the
Daily.
