The Dance Poem by Brennan Scotland

The Dance

Form so sweet
No motion wasted
As the dance continues
Each movement is beauty
The blood flows faster
And the dancers become a flurry
A flood of passion
Spent upon the partner
Pain is the fuel
As hatred the fire
And the dance goes on
Till the music subsides
