The Darkness - Poem by Jay Press

In the Darkness
The Soul is Beaten
The Spirit is Dry
I've no reasons to live
Only reasons to die

However even in the Darkness
There are moments of light
Where everything's gonna be alright
And sometimes.....
There are beams of hope
And just for a moment i'm not alone
The pain came and went
And ever since...
I've been a little stronger
But the darkness will be back, before to much longer

There's only one thing that makes a difference
It's your smile
When i see it
I'm happy for a while
When i'm with you
I'm out of the dark
And i'm out of the hole
Life isn't so cold
While my heart is sold

Only when your love shows
Doe's my soul have a place to go

Because in the Dark
I have no heart
And in the Hole
I can't feel my soul
