The Day Be Well! Poem by Neran Sati

The Day Be Well!

Rating: 4.5

I stay' there lying long, sun rays squizzin through it shutter slot'
As to dither, still hesitatin o'er the room's wall
The way mind let only remnant memory pass to me recall

Was listenin to the bells ringin long, callin folks to church and far beyon'
Of which I e'er got but a glimpse remote
I felt sun'd been whisperin to me, as happy for that outside glow..
availin but no more

And I felt pleased it were only knockin on the hall to me Be, as to which
Response was left - but just to me!
The joy alon' of (un) earned liberty, yet not withheld by evercomin duty
Was merry of temptation playin, cycling o'er me..

Stay my little dream!
It's so cozy.. the day be well, also without me!
