I remember the day it rained
Because it rained just for you
Even the clouds were crying
Because they missed you too

The streets were flooded with tears
Tears not of my own
But of those who thought it wasn't fair

Why did it have to be you?
Why not me?
Some would give anything to be like you
To finally be free

But that's not the case
For those you left behind
You broke a lot of hearts
When it was suddenly your time

How could I forget?
It was the day the clouds parted
Just in time
For you to see your final sunset
