The Death Of My Lullaby Poem by Hanaya Sausan Kamil

The Death Of My Lullaby

Who are you
Stare closely so bravely
How if you lost in the deep side of me
Cause nobody knows how to get you back like you used to be

So be careful enough to get close
I’m not as simple as you think I would be
I warn you from the very beginning
Watch your step, cause you might be drowning

But then you smile in funny ways
Made me trap in those sparkles of your eyes
Dazzle me, mesmerize me by far
Force me to ask, who you really are

So here is me
Wanting you so badly
As you come close to me
I knew this is the port that would end up my journey
And also close,
the lullaby of me
