The Death Road Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Death Road

The Death Road

The tourists of Death Road,
Speak of Bolivia, of Yagnas,
Reading every detail, I smile!

Check Google,
Read questions,
And Replies…

Nobody looks at depth:
"What is cost? "
"Is it too dangerous?
"And hours? Only bikes? "
"Can I go, I am solo, a woman? "

Why deaf, dumb?
Learn about who built it!
The reason behind it?
The workers, laborers?

Knowledge was a secret,
Was hidden in Churches!

Learning is dangerous,
It deciphers secrets,
It did and does always!

Death Road is art, craft,
Standard's, Shell's plan,
For getting oil and gas!

Rockefeller and allies
Helped settle Mennonites,
Guarani was brown,
Some escaped a genocide!

The Green Hell, Chaco,
Was in peace and between,
Bolivia-Paraguay…

Murderers, the Oilmen
Made soldiers road builders!
