In the Bay of Bengal
deep depression
threatens
not the animals
not the plants.
We the humans
try hard to
mitigate the disaster
saving plants
saving animals
for ourselves
not for their life.
saving plants saving animals sir I really enjoy your poem thanks for sharing 10+++++
Your simple words reveal a complicated truth of the human condition. Yes, we are the ones who can experience deep depression, much of it our own doing, yet we ignore direct solutions with convoluted efforts to help the plants and animals...only to make ourselves feel better. What are we missing with our misdirected efforts and what could we accomplish if only we were direct with our intentions? How would we feel?
Thanks dear poet for your multidimensional understanding of the poem.I am obliged.
