The Demon War Poem by Taylor McKnight

The Demon War

I rip my smile off,
The room darkens,
The clouds start to rain.
As I drop to the floor
My enemies, the demons,
Come through the door.

I try get them out
but they come and go, when they want.
I start to cry with the rain.
They continue taking aim,
But the pain never goes away.

Guns fire,
Bang, bang, bang,
I run to hide away
But they never go away

All the sudden guns drop.
The rain stops pouring
The room starts glowing
The war is over for now
They will be back,
For now, we say,
Farewell.
