The Desert Poem by Mary Anne Simon

The Desert

Rating: 0.8

The desert is a hot place
Where the sun boils the earth's face,
Where flowers bloom in crayon colors,
Where a coyote's voice hollers,
Where rocks stand as statues unconscious,
And where mountains background us.
