The Devil's Good Ole Time Poem by Randy McClave

The devil will have a very good ole time
If he came to America today,
He loves the violence and the hate and the crime
He would happily give out a hip hip hooray.
He enjoys the gullible and the naive
And especially those saying they're faithful in their religion,
But, helping and caring though they do not believe
Especially those many who call themselves a Christian.

The devil will have a splendid good ole time
If to America he headed our way,
He would enjoy the filthy and the dirty and the grime
And how we all are falling into decay.
He enjoys the gullible and the poorly educated
Because, they trust always in rumors and in lies,
For him they seemingly have awaited
With smiles on their faces and twinkling in their eyes.

The devil will have a very impressive good ole time
If he headed to America very soon,
His believers would proudly give him their very last dime
And if they could, they'd even give him the moon.
For him they would riot and fight and would kill and die
Without remorse, common sense, intelligence or fear,
They hungrily would support and defend his every lie
And to their hip hip hooray, he is already here.
