The Diamond Poem by Sophie Allyah

The Diamond

In the blooming of December
I will cherish you forever
Where the flame cast a glow
Where my death lies in December snow

I'll ascend like an Akyəst to the throne
If curtain belongs with the prettiest stone
Then I shall perish the most
gruesome way death has to offer
For with it shall I be beaming forever
I'd tear my flesh slowly all day long
While chanting the most beautiful song
This life only matters with the diamond
Where I could die beneath the lonely moon
Unscarred and sinful but out of tune

In the blooming of December
I will nurture you forever
Where the fire cast a glow
Where my end lies in December snow
