The Difference Poem by Tony Adah

The Difference

Rating: 4.5

We sang songs
They kept mute
We cried on
We ate corn
They ate bread
They smeared butter
They drank tea
They live in the city
We slum live
They drove cars
We trek on
They live big
We ate bins
We ate beans
Mama-put made
We ate junk
They feed fat
On our sweat
We all die
Today or tomorrow.
