The Dilemma Poem by Mary Wismer

The Dilemma

Rating: 5.0

I don't care anymore, I cant lie to you now.
I suffer from a bad affection
seems my life's a contra diction,
two live war inside of me.

Nothing defend 'Eyes', it's time to learn to cry again
drawing out this line for the Millionth time
and though i want the Spirit to win
seems the strong Mans get his way.

I know I've pushed you far, I cant turn it around.
carry out the good that desire.
But seldom works out right.

My Chest hurt when i breath
this is not what I'd hope for.
I know that life is choices chances all day long.
seems my right just always turn out wrong.

All i have is wrapped up in you
don't take it away, anything that I have
to do I'm gonna do to stay!
I don't know what i made till you're breaking,
and I dont know the fate of one mistakes till I realize.

Who can rescue me from all I've become?
thanks Heaven its already done.
I dont have to be the way I've been
a victim to fix I'm in.
I know that i could really changes
all my life will I ever make it right.

still the dichotomy of thoughts- to be or not to be -cutting the edges in desire to love cr not to love that lie latching on to the saga of staked emotion yet not contradicted, quite unique penning and i love lines, thanks for sharing

Such an emotional poem... A dilemma you can say but for me it just all the same, we're only human to commit mistake, anyway nobodys perfect. The only solution to this dilemma is being honest to your self & to the one you care for. A mistake is always be a mistake unless that we correct it. Just a comment- God bless! Rommel

Nice poem - I wish I could understand German (or Swiss?) and then read it in that language. I think I am in the same dilemma now, and so are many others!
