The Disc Turned Round And Round Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Disc Turned Round And Round

The disc turned round and round and
Round… Enchanted the Singer Voice
Haunted the ecstatic Crowd.
For that was Beauty.

Today
the Tongue that sang be made of dust
and dust he bones; the eyes be gone.

And yet still today.
The disc turned round and round and
Round… Enchanted the Singer Voice
Haunted the ecstatic Crowd.
For that was Beauty.
